I like comfortable shoes and clothes and I can not lie

I like my comfort. But as a mom I'm often not very comfortable at all. Because I have this bad habit of worrying I can't seem to kick.

Yes, I know worrying doesn't help!

And yes, of course I know that worrying is not helpful. But I just can't seem to help myself.

I worry about the kids' safety, I worry about the time spent on their WII, computer and Playstation and I worry about the fact that I worry so much.

So in all other aspects of my life I like to make things as easy as possible. Which is why I like my clothes and shoes to be comfortable

Comfortwear please!

You can see my yearning for comfort reflected in my choice of clothing and footwear. I like my skirts elastic and pull-up. You know, a kind of jogging pants in disguise! They feel as comfortable as a ratty pair of sports pants but they look as if you've made an effort.

Footwear

As far as footwear is concerned, you can see my need for comfort in the Ugg boots I like to wear. However, I have to admit Uggs are neither feminine nor elegant. And they make your feet look big. So I'm always on the lookout for shoes that offer the same kind of comfort, but look a bit more like I made an effort. Today I stumbled upon some stylish wide fitting ladies shoes.

Ballet flats and Mary Janes

I spotted some ballet flats and some nice looking Mary Janes. Both kind of shoes look feminine and would go great with my jersey skirts. So I can look a bit more stylish, while staying in my comfort zone. I especially like the red shoes in the upper left corner of this post. They remind me of the shoes Dorothy wore in The Wizard of Ozz. Only more comfortable.

And why shouldn't I be comfortable. As Sheldon Cooper in The Big Bang Theory once said:

'They don't call it the comfort zone for nothing!'

I totally agree!

What kind of clothes and shoes do you wear?
