How is this possible?
Am I really married for as long as 30 years?

When I look at our wedding picture, we look so young. I can't help but think:
'Yeah you're smiling now, but you don't know what lies ahead!'
And then I think of losing our daughter Lucy.....
But I'm also grateful for all the good things life has brought us.
Like 4 other healthy children.
I feel it's so important to not forget everything that's good in the avalanche of grief and sadness.

Happy Anniversary, 30 years is wonderful. I'm sorry it hasn't been an easy ride with your loss, but you are lucky you have each other still.
Congratulations! We just celebrated our 32nd anniversary earlier this month and there are times when it seems like only yesterday despite all that has happened over the years.
