Look at me! I'm a birdwatcher!
Ever since I read Sally Hinchcliffe's book The Year List, I've been interested in bird watching. I'm not saying I'm any good at it, but now, whenever I see a bird I find myself wondering: '
What kind of bird is that?'
Birdwatching during the Covid 19 crisis
Birdwatching is an activity that's easy to do, even during these troubled times. It's cheap, you can do it alone or with your loved ones and it's a way to enjoy the simple things of life.
Like birds.
I find comfort in the fact that even though everything's different, nature is still the same. Birds are still flying, flowers still blooming
It's just humankind that's come to a standstill.
And who knows, maybe something good will come out of all this.
Already the air is much cleaner, and there are fish in the canals in Venice.
How are you doing during all this?
