Father's day
I'm happy to report I had a happy Mother's Day, thanks to me, myself and I. I devoted precious time to lobbying for good presents, and it paid off. Then came Father's Day, and hubby had not put any effort into the promotion of himself. So the only child who offered him a present was...
12 surefire ways to piss off your wife
Act like you weren't just bórn yesterday, but like you also just moved in yesterday. Kitchen?! Where's that? Don't hold your farts. Let them rip! As soon as you spot your wife looking tired, quicky yawn loudly while proclaiming: 'Geez, I'm soooo tired. I'm so glad I can depend on you to pull my weight...
When hubby is home...
I like weekends. But I also don't like them. And that's weekends come with lots of chaos. During the week when everybody is at work or school, I rule my little kingdom. But during the weekend all the peasants come home to roost, and mess things up. Especially my husband, whom I love, is everywhere!

Gehwol!
As a mom I do a lot of wringing of the hands. Usually with a wet rag in between. And my poor, delicate hands pay the price, so last week I liberally applied Gehwol, a cream for dry feet. I figured: If it works for feet, it will also work on hands! Afterwards I left...
Couple's shopping and parenting
I was walking through the aisles of our local Walmart, looking for things I didn't know I needed, when I crossed paths with a German family. You can look, but please don't touch! The mom was totally engrossed in all the merchandise, leaving the dad to do the parenting. As they walked by lots of...

Most men nowadays help around the house these days. After all, two feminist waves have left their mark! It's hard to stay a male chauvinist male pig with so much pressure nót to be. However there are still some men around who simply don't séé it. They may not even realize you'ld appreciate some help...
Awww, sounds like a lovely photo. Don't be saddened by her comment, martial relationships change as children come along. The love is strong, dutiful and romantic but not as young love. I believe children know can see love and know it, in all its forms :0)
I agree that relationships change but it still can be strong and romantic if we work at it.
At least the two of you are still the topics of her artwork. Not only that, but when she thinks of you, the fist image which comes to mind is a pleasant one. Whenever my wife and I go out for an evening (ummm...right in 2009), we are very straightforward about telling the kids we need some time not being parents. A popcorn and a movie seems to cure them of heartsickness pretty quickly:)
Thanks Kenny. That's a lovely way of looking at it.
Kids are so funny! Wonder what her picture would like if she drew you now? Hehehe
That sounds ominous Becky Jane. Now you've got me worried!
