Sit and chill
I was watching this documentary about a big family of 12.
Sit and chill
The dad, who looked extremely relaxed, explained how he kept it all together. I was at the edge of my seat, waiting for the words that would change my life. Finally, I was gonna find out how to stay relaxed amidst chaos, and kids screaming my name. Then the dad spoke:
'I do what needs to be done, and when I'm finished, I sit and chill!'
I leaned back in disappointment.
Because I'm never finished!
LOL some how men get away with things we could not. We'd be hung up to dry by society for being neglectful or worse. Ah well... keep calm and carry on, as they say, lol
What has always helped me is find a way on a daily basis to take time for me. It might a phone call to a friend, or it might be thirty minutes reading or it might be meeting a friend for a coffee, but if I can find the time for me, I seem to be so much better of fin the long run.
HA! That is SO true!! lol I was reading your post myself waiting for those words of wisdom! Oh well. 🙂 I just found you via the Mommas Like Me blog hop! I can't wait to read more! 🙂 xo, Reannah
It's so incredibly true. No matter how much we do, there's always more to be done. It's a vicious circle.
This is true. There is always more to do even after you think you're done! Thank you for sharing with us at The Crazy Little Lovebirds link party #77. I hope you will join us again soon.
