Nightwear for the tired
During the cold Winter months I like to sleep in big flannel night gowns.
Granny gown
Unforntunately they only come in Granny model, so charming they are not. In fact, there have been times when I took a big sheet out of the cupboard, and it turned out to be my nightgown.
Comfortable and great for a good night's sleep
But they're so comfortable, and have a lovely cooling effect on husbands. I can highly recommend them for a night of uninterrupted sleep. And if there's anything I long for, after five kids, it's a good night's sleep.
Hot little nightgown
But then, one day I was out shopping, this hot little nightgown caught my eye. It was black, with little shoulder straps, and had a lacy top. Usually I firmly ignore clothes like this, but suddenly I found myself paying for it.
When I got home I tossed it in the cupboard, where it lay gathering dust. But yesterday, while searching for my comfy Birkenstocks, I found it again.
'I may as well try it on,' I decided, and stared in wonder at the mirror. Instead of a walking, talking bed sheet, before me stood a slender, even sexy woman!
'Not bad, after five kids!' I decided.
If only I didn't like my night of uninterrupted sleep so much.
What does your nightwear look like?
You admit it and you are proud of it! Good for you. And if the hubby doesn't mind, then, hurrah! #justanotherlinky
I sleep in a t-shirt and over-sized pj bottoms...but my crowning glory is the pineapple style ponytail I contract each night - v. sexy! #justanotherlinky
*construct...damn you auto-correct!
Where is the photo of the back beauty? Enjoy.
