You're a better wife than me, I'd be all over him to get proper shoes on. What kind of example does that set for the kids, if you have any.... My son would think he could wear sandals too. Nuh-uh.

I've done that before! The first time we got snow after we moved here to the desert, we were unprepared for it, but the kids just had to go out and play. Everyone wore plastic bags on their feet and had the best time!
My birkies are my house slippers, they have never seen the light of day outdoors! Just for this post they should send him a new pair! 🙂

The baggies are meant to keep his feet dry. And he says his feet stay warm in these Birkenstocks...
I have five kids. And even if I tried, my husband would never give up on his Birkenstocks!
