Your turn!
DoorNicole OrriensEven though we've been married for a long time, I still look out of the window with longing. Waiting for hubby to come home. Sometimes I even walk into the street, just to see if I can see him coming. My heart is always yearning for his arrival. Yearning for my husband And then, when...
Say something nice?
DoorNicole OrriensI was starving for some positive reinforcement, so against my better judgement I asked hubby: 'Please say something nice to me?' Shooting balloons on my computer?! Because when I staggered into the cubby hole that is my office, my head spinning and my eyes watering, because I...

How to talk to your husband
DoorNicole OrriensWhenever I want to have a heart to heart with my husband, he gets this shifty look in his eyes, and needs to go to the bathroom. Or he gets sidetracked wondering how a word is spelled, because he's a bit of a language freak. He reads dictionaries for pleasure, need I say more? How...

Yes, weekends are a lot more chaotic! Sometimes single parenting is easier. Two parents are different rules and personalities. Doable of course, but sometimes you miss how you are the only Queen during the week.
