I'm painting my eyebrows black
I suppose it's one of those things that happens as you grow older. At least in my case: my eyebrows, which used to be quite eyecatching, have grown paler and paler.
I want eyebrows like Julianne Margulies
At first I didn't care all that much, because I was wearing glasses, and they hid my pale eyebrows. But then vanity struck, and I reverted to wearing contact lenses. Then suddenly, I did mind! I'm always eyeing Julianne Margulies' beautiful eyebrows in The Good Wife. I want mine to look like hers!
Swiss O Par Eyelash and Brow Dye Kit
But I didn't want the hassle of daily coloring my eyebrows with an eyebrow pencil, so I bought a Swiss O Par Eyelash & Brow Dye Kit BLACK and decided to take the DIY road. My hand was a bit shaky when I first applied the the solution, because I was worried I was going to look like Charlie Chaplin. Then I put on the gel with the little comb, which turned rather alarmingly black upon contact with my eyebrow! Then I had to wait for 1 minute, but I decided wait a few more, because if 1 minute helps, surely more will help even more.
When the time was up, I removed the dye, and although I still didn't look like Julianne Margulies, at least I had eyebrows again. So all in all, I'm quite pleased with Swiss O Par.
How do you treat your eyebrows?
I'm glad you found something you like!
I don't do very much with my eyebrows either. I only trim them occasionally, if not they are natural looking.
Since I dye my hair brown, I have to use the same color (or a shade lighter) for my eyebrows too. Took me forever to perfect the arch, lol.
I don't really bother much about my eyebrows. It has always been black and bushy.. and I only really "tame" it if I do have a special wedding or event to take part in.
Gosh, this brings back memories. It took me years to figure out the right shape for my face. Not too thin, not too thick, and that they needed to be a certain length across. I love this post, and I'm curious about the product. Thanks so much for sharing.
