Happy Stones for dummies
After seeing pictures of happy stones on other blogs I got all inspired!
I decided I would create some happy stones of my own, even though I have a terrible track record when it comes to arts and crafts.
Happy Stones for dummies
Nevertheless, I didn't do all that terrible.
I used some online examples and tried to replicate them.
You can see the result in the picture above.
These happy stones are a bit simple, but at least they look happy : )
Happy Stones materials
I found the stones I used on the dirt track behind our house. I used paint and acrylic markers for the details.
My grand daughter made a happy stone for me. Although I did not know that is what they were called. It was during school the teacher had the class make them. The one she gave me had those craft eyes painted on it. Back in my day we had pet rocks. and I just thought this was a 'pet rock'. I guess these days they are called 'happy stones'!

The craft eyes were glued on. Not painted on. I didn't catch my typo until after posting my comment 🙂
That's so sweet of your granddaughter!
Nicole, these are so cute. You did a great job on them.
Thanks bunches for sharing these happy stones with Sweet Tea & Friends this month sweet friend..
Lovely simple ideas, I've not painted happy stones for ages, I struggle to find them.
Thanks for linking up with #pocolo
They look great - and I'm sure the process also contributes to their happiness (as long as it went well!) #PoCoLo
