Could I live in the countryside without internet?

country living

One of the 'perks' of living in the country is that I have no easy access to shops. That should help my bank account stay healthy!

But there's a loophole, and it's called the internet.

Online shopping in the country

While looking at the beautiful countryside from why window, I type: '' and voila, lots of book just waiting for me to buy them. And when I've had my fill of books, I head on over to to look for skirts. Sometimes it makes me wonder:

'Could I live in the country, if there was no internet?'

When I grew up in the country, the internet didn't even exist, and it was fine. But now that I've tasted the endless possibilities the internet offers, I don't think I could do without it anymore.

Internet provides me with the world

Not only does the internet provide me with the newest bestsellers, and nice clothes, it also helps me connect with people from all over the world. When we moved from the city to the country, my internet friends moved right along with me!

What does the internet mean to you?Could you do without it?

  1. Oh my goodness NO!!! LOL I grew up in the country too, but now I live in one of the bigger "cities" in WV. They got internet back home fairly early on, but I'm sure there are still some places that don't. I mean, WV is basically all woods. 😉 But I have to say, that would be a deal breaker for me, if we were considering buying a house further out in the country.
