The beautiful art of doing nothing
Everyday at 10 am I take a break.
I sit myself down, and then I just am.
The beautiful art of doing nothing
While sipping my daily coffee I ponder life and just kind of stare into space. After about 10 minutes of this, I start getting all kinds of ideas and inspiration. Which is why I have taken to having my Moleskine diary nearby so I can jot these thoughts down.
Because while I may appear to be doing nothing, I'm actually doing a lot.
This is soooooo true! When I get a glorious moment to just sit, you better believe my mind is racing, and I'm probably composing my next blog post in my mind! Or figuring out our battle plan for the day 🙂

This does happen! When you clear your mind, that's when the ideas seem to flow better. Very cute picture!
Thanks Anne. I made it myself!
I love your cartoons! This one is great and so true!! I really have to just have time to sit and do nothing to come up with ideas to write about. It's stopping long enough to let me do nothing that is the hard part, which I know you can relate to!! Thanks for the laugh and the reminder!!
I couldn't agree with you more :). When I'm idle, that's when the smarts kick in.
Great cartoons. You're so talented 🙂
I've got to agree with you 100% on this.
