How to manage your teenagers
Guest post by Irene
Lots of mothers like some advice on how to manage their teenage kids.
During adolescence, children often want independence, but at the same time they need your attention. If they can’t get that from their parents, they turn to their friends who might end up giving them the wrong advice. Like: 'Dude! You can make some easy money at http://www.foxybingo.com.' To avoid your children from being misguided, it is important to spend time doing fun things with them. Here are some tips on how you can do that:
Do something physical
It may not always seem that way, but teenagers by nature are active. They just try to hide it. But you should see them either riding their bicycle or practicing some killer dance moves. Doing something physical can take away the stress and daily frustrations. You can join your son for a bike ride and maybe challenge him to a race. If your daughter loves dancing to pop music like those from Nicki Minaj or Lady Gaga, then introduce a new kind of dance to her like salsa or cha-cha. They may laugh at you, but that's a small price to pay to connect with your teenager.
Make a meal of it
Most teenagers love to eat, but they don’t have any idea how to prepare food. It is about time to get them involved in fixing up a meal or a snack. Since you already know what their favorite food is, then it will be easier for you to entice them to cook. Instead of ordering pizza, you can buy some ingredients and ask their help in putting the toppings. Your children will surely have fun creating their own pizza and of course eating what they made.
